rather than on this blog, which I imagine will lie dormant for the foreseable future.

A couple of things still need doing - for example the links page is not finished, so please don't be offended if I link to you here but not at the new place. You will be soon ..

I've also been convinced, for the good of the website, to sign up to twitter, so please feel free to follow me if that's the kind of thing you're into. Relevant link over at the new place ..

I caught an old episode of Friends the other day. The show (at best bland and inoffensive, at worst downright wretched) seemed to be plumbing new depths of badness with a storyline involving Chandler and his inability to smile for a camera.

Apparently a friend told him she had died as a joke, and he posted it without checking it out.

There then followed an almighty outpouring of self-righteous indignation, especially from the Tory blogs, which was, frankly, hilarious.

I like the idea of a pitchfork-wielding mob of ConservativeHome readers ..

That third panel still makes me smile .. Anyway, my thoughts on the subject were conveyed in this last strip.
